The reception staff were very helpfull, the location was excellent, The car parking arrangements, while several streets away was very much appreciated and saved us some cash.

The rooms are very basic, no fridge Tea/coffee making facilities, poor ‘cafeteria’, the most basic ‘continental breakfast’ possible, decor in need of updating (especially the bathrooms), The room staff did not replace any of the used toiletries or (cheap disposable) glasses during the 4 night stay!

We were pleasantly surprised, and cannot understand the many negative reviews. The room was spacious and everything was spotless, Plenty of fresh towels, and nice clean bedding. Even shampoos and soap provided. We asked for extra clothes hangers,and they were brought within five minutes The lights failed on day, a call to reception and the electrician was there immediately. The breakfast was adequate for us, and brilliant for the price. The service in the bar/breakfast room was good and the barman/waiter was very friendly. The receptionist was really great, we werenot sure how to work the heating system, a quick phone call to her, and she came up herself to show us what to do. We experience a bit of outside noise, but eh! Who would expect anything else in the centre of any city. Anyone wanting tranquillity should book a hotel out of town. For the price we paid, our stay was fantastic, and we can only think that the people who make such a meal of complaining, live on a different planet to us, Would we book again, yes we would, and throught Booking .com. Who were excellent
